English: Third Term

1st Week:

We have revised the theory of the reported speech. I remember almost everything from last courses and I do not find it hard because you can translate the sentences to Spanish or Catalan in order to make them easily.

2nd Week:

This week we have practised the reported speech in some online exercises and in some original games. I still find it easy except for the questions. I guess I'll have to revise the structure for them.

3rd Week:

We continue to practise reported speech. I did also read a lot of chapters from the Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas during the weekend. It's the first book that I'm reading fully in english and I'm loving it.

4th Week:

I did the first exam of the term a little bit later than the rest because I went on a trip during the exam week. I found It easy but some of the vocabulary was quite hard.

5th Week

We corrected our exam mistakes. I didn't have many so I was a little bit bored during the rest of the class. 

I also have to make a book glossary for chapter 11 with help of my classmate Marc. I think it will be fun because I really like the book and it will increase my term mark.

6th Week:

We did some more games that helped us to practise our english talking habilities. The game rules were making the game a little bit sow so we changed some things to make it more entertaining.

7th Week:

Pilar showed us the contents of the last exam. She explained that she decided to put in Verb Tenses as an extra content. I don't have any problem because I can work with them quite easily. We did also practised Verb Tenses with an exercise that I did quite well.

8th Week:

We did the final exam of the whole course. It was really easy but the listening made me doubt a little bit. The vocabulary was easier and I did also revised a lot more with help of the Quizlet webpages that we created.

English: Second Term

1st Week:

During the first week of the second term we worked on conditionals. I find them easy because the structure is not hard at all.

2nd Week:

We corrected the conditionals exercises. I'm getting a little bored because we are not doing enough exercises.

3rd Week:

We started talking about argumentative texts. I like them but I remember a lot from last courses.

4th Week:

We did the first exam of the second term. It went well but I had problems with some vocabulary.

5th Week and 6th Week:

We started working with the education topic. I have learned lots of new words and I like this way of learning.

7th Week:

We did a listening of a video about food chains in the forest. It was fun and we laughed at the video. We did also learned the structure of a formal letters and it will be included in the exam as a writing.

8th Week:

We did the second exam and it went really well. I didn't find any difficulty.

9th, 10th and 11th Week:

This weeks were a little bit stange because we went to a skii trip, and then we worked music vocabulary and finally we started working a topic which is shared with Physical Education. We had to work really fast because we lost a whole week.

12th Week:

We did the last exam of the term. It was really easy except for a connector exercises. I think the term went really great and that the english level of the class is increasing. However, I think that is not a good option to work with topics related to Physical Education.
